Five Mile Films - Extra Actor, Bristol

March 2025

● I worked as an extra actor for one day of filming, in a recreation scene in a documentary for ITV concerning the phone hacking scandal.

Wedding Photographer, Frome

April 2024

  • Working as a wedding photographer, I had to shoot beautiful moments as they happened, making sure to capture all the best angles. 

  • I exercised proficient skills in understanding lighting and camera techniques

  • I utilised skills within Lightroom, to edit over 300 photos and deliver them to the couple quickly.

MendEarth - Business Development Team, Bristol

January 2024 - June 2024

● Partnered with Babbasa, I worked as part of the business development team to create MendEarth, a large scale social action project which helped young people in marginalised communities to understand and navigate climate change and other intersecting social justice issues.

● Throughout the development of this project I grew skills in corporate communication, business strategy, social media marketing and business development.

● I communicated with stakeholders effectively and professionally, allowing for the smooth collaboration of a successful large scale social action project.

Faces of Frome - Photo|Frome, Frome

July 2022

● I collaborated with Falmouth University on behalf of Photo|Frome in order to run their annual ‘Faces of Frome’ event.

● The event focussed on taking the portraits of hundreds of Frome Market-goers. This involved approaching people who may wish to be involved and inviting them to have their portrait taken. This event was very successful, resulting in a collaborative archive of the ‘faces of Frome’.

● I built skills in customer communication and photography.

My project ‘Decolonising Environments’ was exhibited at Rook Lane Chapel in Frome, as part of my winning of the Community Award.

My work was exhibited at the Photo|Frome ‘Body Positivity’ Exhibition, held at Frome Library, as well as one of the images from my project being used in the promotional materials.

Research - I am very passionate about my research into the representation of autistic women, citizen journalism and medical imaging
